Welcome to the garden—

Garden of Goodness is a free newsletter about reclaiming our wholeness and innate goodness.

In Garden of Goodness is where I write memoir-style essays, poetry and share about my journey reclaiming my wholeness, dignity and innate goodness after many years of shame and complex trauma.

This is a personal writing project, not self-help, tools or teaching. You can find my coaching work here.

Themes that weave through my writing include being a queer autistic femme in the midwest, boundaries for highly sensitives, devotion to our Truth, life as art and alchemizing shame into succulent self-expression.

I have been writing digital newsletters alongside my coaching practice since 2015 centered on supporting others— which reach roughly 8,000 inboxes weekly and growing. Garden of Goodness is a separate project where I am sharing personal work, stories and essays.

It would be my delight to share this personal writing project with you.

More personally—

I’m Madison Morrigan. I’m a writer, podcaster, somatic coach and facilitator of transformational conversations.

Along with writing here, I have a robust private practice and gather intimately twice a month with my online membership communities. Be it in my private coaching or in the groups I facilitate, my work supports folks to access their innate dignity, sovereignty and wholeness using ritual, self-inquiry and somatic (body-based) practices.

I am the proud recipient of 5x International Coaching awards from BYCA, and host the Everything Belongs podcast, which now has over 100 episodes. When I’m not coaching or writing I’m likely sitting for tea ceremony, somewhere down a rabbit hole of hyperfixation or dancing to Carly Rae Jepsen in the kitchen with my pug Morris and distracting Jen while she bakes.

Listen to Everything Belongs

Here in the garden I share candidly about my life, personal process and healing, and though I aim to cut to the bone, it is my commitment to stay anchored in hope.

For nearly all of my adult life I have been writing and sharing my journey in weekly newsletters. The circumstances of my life have changed radically over the course of the past decade, but the core themes in my work have not: Centered on self-sovereignty, unmasking your authentic self, accessing your wholeness and full expression, my readers have journeyed with me as I left evangelical Christianity, as I came out as queer while married, as I untethered from patriarchal ideals and abusive relationships, discovered my neurodivergence and healed from a traumatic upbringing.

I know what is possible through healing.

I know what is possible when we tell the truth of our stories.

I know what is possible when we learn to guardian the goodness of our own heart and lives.

Subscribing to Garden of Goodness is free. You’ll receive a weekly(ish) newsletter of personal essays, poems and insights about becoming guardian of all things good… and the hellish underworld journey it often takes us to finally (finally) center ourselves in our lives.

You won’t find this content anywhere else.

Support and be supported—

If you so choose (and I’d be so grateful if you do) you can choose to support my work and be supported in return. Here in the garden you’re gonna get the messy, un-curated truth of what it really takes to live a life centered in dignity, wholeness and sovereignty. The kind of art I used to believe isn’t “marketable” in the self-help space. The work we most need to be well. The truth that sets us free.

Because of this, your financial contribution and reciprocity is something I don’t take lightly.

Paying subscribers will receive:

  • my gratitude & call your energy back hypnosis– (“anointed” and “powerful” are just a few ways people have described their experience with it)

  • opportunities to interact with other readers and access to my monthly unedited personal shares– think “close friends” content including rants, personal photos, daily happenings, hilarious memes and more.

Access to my live Equinox gatherings are also available for folks subscribing as Founders at $133/year.

When you become a paid subscriber you’ll have access to all paid content.

“There is no place so awake and alive as the edge of becoming. But more than that, birthing the kind of woman who can authentically say, 'My soul is my own,' and then embody it in her life, her spirituality, and her community is worth the risk and hardship.”
